Kimberly Carter Pigott
Kim was born and raised in Jacksonville, North Carolina, graduating from White Oak High School. During her high school years, she was encouraged by her successes and an inspirational art teacher. After some time in Europe, observing the importance of art and architecture to the people of those cultures, Kim returned home and began to educate herself and become more proficient in drawing and painting. It was at that time she began to focus on the figurative, working primarily from life using female models.

Kim likes the soft lines of the female form. They are naturally compatible with her use of arabesques and other curvilinear elements she uses to embellish her paintings.

Currently living in Moss Point, Mississippi with her husband and son, Kim continues to work at her craft as she becomes a recognized artist. She has works in many private collections in the eastern United States.
