A North Carolina native, Jillian Webb Martin Herrmann earned her B.F.A. from UNC-CH where she became fascinated by the study of color, abstraction, and conceptual art.
The works of Hans Hofmann, Edvard Munch, and Mark Rothko have all influenced Jillian’s painting style and technique.
Texture and color are elements she uses to develop tension, creating depth and mood in her work. Jillian’s artwork is now in collections and households across the United States.
